To pre-order there is a $25 deposit per wine kit. We will also offer the option to oak barrel age all the red wine kits for an additional cost of $30 plus taxes. In 1999 Beyond The Grape On Premise Winemaking opened at Newport Village in Port Moody. Beyond The Grape quickly gained a reputation for excellence in wine making and its wine making experience.

In 2000 Beyond The Grape had the opportunity to hire Chris Dowler and Evan Hooson. They joined us with many years of vintning experience. In March of 2001 Jim and Sandra Croney purchased Beyond The Grape. Jim and Sandra liked the company for its many years of vintners experience in addition to its dedication to quality and customer service. These qualities still exist today even as the company has expanded to two stores. In December of 2001 Beyond The Grape purchased the former Valley Estates store on North Road. Michael Druce (Jim & Sandra's son in law) started with the Newport store shortly after it was purchased and now is the manager at the Burnaby store. Because of our many years of vintners experience and the excellent technical support given to us by our major supplier Winexpert, we are able to offer a 100% guarantee on all of our wines.

To make your bottling experience more efficient and enjoyable, we have a four head bottle filler and an automatic corker at both locations, as well as a large selection of shrink wraps and labels. Both locations have a beautiful retail section containing a unique selection of wine related giftware and accessories, as well as a great selection of products and equipment for the at home wine maker.
