This year, in addition to sought after varietals and unique blends, Winexpert is thrilled to offer a very distinctive wine – Blanc de Noir – an elusive white wine that is made from red grapes. Done in an off-dry style, this is the must have wine of the year but really the entire series is a must have.

The pre-order deadline will be Friday December 2nd. Each pre-ordered kit requires a $25 deposit. Oak Barrel aging is available on a first come first serve basis, so act quickly. Tuscany, Italy

  • Located on the Tyrrhenian Sea which gives the area a warm Mediterranean climate
  • The terrain is quite hilly and these hills serve as a tempering affect on the summertime heat

 

Tasting Notes

  • Expressively refreshing
  • Peach, green apple and fresh lime
  • Hint of tarragon on the finish
  • Sip-worthy on its own
  • Quenching acidity

  • Tempranillo, Carnacha and Bobal bring lush and hedonistic qualities. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah offer body and structure
  • Notes of black and red fruit, cherry cola, anise and white pepper

  • Blanc De Noir is a French term which means "white wine from dark grapes"
  • No skin contact after pressing keeps color light and tannins at bay
  • Crabapple, white peach, grapefruit and hint of strawberry
