Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce "2009/2010 Small Business of the Year"

On Friday January 15th, 2010 Sandra & Michael (with Priscilla) attended The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala for 2009/2010. We had been nominated and selected as a Finalist in the category of "Small Business of the Year". At the Gala we where awarded as the Winner of the Small Business of the Year. This is a great honour to us and we are already proudly displaying the Trophy in the store.
We could not have achieved such a honour without the great staff we have had over the years as well as the great customer support we have enjoyed since we have been open.
To be nominated in the Small Business of the Year category the business must employ less than 35 employees and have made an outstanding contribution in the combined areas of economic development, innovation and community service.
The business must also displayed a positive social conscience. Key figures from within the business have been role models and have demonstrated a leadership role within the business community.
